Terms of Service
Last updated: June 30, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Bifrost platform and API at usebifrost.org ("Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Bifrost provides a unified API to connect social accounts and read profile, content and analytics data across supported platforms (LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and X). Features may change over time.
2. Accounts & API keys
You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your credentials and API keys secret. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You must provide accurate information and be authorized to connect any account you link.
3. Acceptable use
- Comply with all applicable laws and with the terms and policies of each connected platform.
- Only connect accounts you own or are authorized to manage, and only access data you are permitted to access.
- Do not abuse, overload, reverse engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service.
- Do not use the Service to store or transmit unlawful content or to violate others' rights.
4. Platform compliance
Your use of data obtained through connected platforms is subject to those platforms' terms. You are responsible for using such data in compliance with the relevant platform policies and for obtaining any required end-user consent.
5. Billing & subscriptions
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis. Our order process and payments are handled by our reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com, which is the seller of record for purchases made through the Service. Paddle handles billing, payment, invoicing, and applicable taxes (such as VAT/sales tax) on our behalf.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled.
- You can cancel at any time from your billing settings or by contacting us; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current period.
- Plan limits (connected accounts, projects, API calls, features) apply to your active plan and are enforced by the Service.
- Fees are stated exclusive of taxes unless noted; Paddle may add taxes based on your location.
- Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software and branding, is owned by Bifrost. Data you retrieve through the Service remains subject to the rights of its owners and the originating platforms.
7. Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bifrost will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue or profits, arising from your use of the Service.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
