Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for paid subscriptions to the Bifrost platform and API at usebifrost.org ("Service"). It forms part of our Terms of Service.

1. Billing & Merchant of Record

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis. Payments are processed by our reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com, which is the seller of record for your purchase and handles billing, invoicing and applicable taxes. Refunds are issued through Paddle to your original payment method.

2. Free plan

We offer a Free plan so you can evaluate the Service before paying. We encourage you to test your integration on the Free plan to confirm it meets your needs before upgrading.

3. 14-day money-back guarantee

If you are not satisfied with a paid plan, you may request a full refund of your first payment within 14 days of that initial charge. Once approved, the refund is processed to your original payment method and your plan reverts to Free.

4. Renewals

Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period. Renewal payments are generally non-refundable. You can cancel at any time to stop future renewals — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access to your paid plan until then. We do not provide pro-rated refunds for unused time in a billing period, except where required by law.

5. Exceptions

  • Duplicate or accidental charges are refunded in full on request.
  • Where a billing error on our side resulted in an incorrect charge, we will correct and refund it.
  • Refunds may be declined in cases of abuse, fraud, or violation of our Terms of Service.
  • Statutory rights (for example, EU/UK consumer rights) are unaffected by this policy.

6. How to request a refund

Email [email protected] from the address on your account, including the receipt or invoice number from your Paddle confirmation email. We aim to respond within 2 business days. You may also contact Paddle directly using the link on your purchase receipt.

7. Changes

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
